ABOUT JNAO JOURNAL

Journal of Nonlinear Analysis and Optimization: Theory & Applications (JNAO) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal, that devotes to the publication of original articles of current interest in every theoretical, computational, and applicational aspect of nonlinear analysis, convex analysis, fixed point theory, and optimization techniques and their applications to science and engineering. All manuscripts are refereed under the same standards as those used by the finest-quality printed mathematical journals. Accepted papers will be published online.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

In order to facilitate the editing process, authors are requested to conform to the following requirements:
1. Manuscripts must be submitted in JNAO format and written in English.
2. The first page should contain the title, name and address of the author(s), including an e-mail address, an abstract, a 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification of the article, and some keywords and phrases.
3. Diagrams and figures (with captions) must be in a form suitable for reproduction.
4. References should be given at the end of the paper, ordered alphabetically by name of the author, and numbered consecutively. Journal articles should be listed with names and initials of all authors, full title, name of journal abbreviated as in the "Abbreviations of Names of Serials" Mathematical Reviews, volume number, year of publication, first and last page numbers. Books should be listed with the name of author(s), full title, edition (if not the first), name of series and number (if one of a series), publisher, place of publication and year. Citation in the text should be given by numbers in square brackets.
5. Authors are advised to consult the AMS Author Handbook published by the American Mathematical Society for the preparation of their papers.
6. Authors whose articles have been accepted for publication are encouraged to provide electronic files of their articles, either in a LaTeX file (preferred), along with the corresponding PDF file, to expedite the production process.
7. Manuscripts are accepted for consideration with the understanding that the same work has not been or will not be published elsewhere. Certain articles considered appropriate by the Editorial Board might also be accepted with proper acknowledgment.

REVIEW PROCESS

Submissions are accepted for review with the understanding that the same work has been neither submitted to, nor published in, another publication. Simultaneous submission to other publications will result in immediate rejection of the paper. Papers are not within the journal scope will be rejected immediately after the pre-review process. All manuscripts will be subject to a well established, fair, unbiased peer review and refereeing procedure, and are considered on the basis of their significance, novelty and usefulness to the Journals readership. The reviewing structure will always ensure the anonymity of the referees & it will be reviewed by 3 experts in the field. The review output will be one of the following decisions:


1. Publish, no significant alterations suggested.
2. Publish, but suggest changes to the article as specified in this review.
3. Publish, but suggestions as specified in this review must be addressed by either making changes or explaining why changes would be inappropriate.
4. Reject, but encourage author to try a major revision and a second peer review.
5. Reject, do not encourage a rewrite.
The review process may take approximately one month to be completed. The Editor reserves the right to reject a paper if it does not meet the aims and scope of the journal, it is not revised well.
